How long a copy survives, by channel

Median time for an infringing listing to come down, by channel, from a published industry survey. The gap between channels is the single most useful number in this business.

11.4
days — TikTok Shop
3.2
days — Amazon
2.8
days — Walmart

What the gap means

Every day a copy stays up is your search traffic and your reputation, spent by someone else. A channel where removal takes eleven days is where copies concentrate — which is exactly why TikTok Shop is our priority surface, and why the brands most exposed there are the ones with no official storefront on it.

Why we won't quote you a removal date

The platform's review queue isn't ours to control, and any vendor quoting a guaranteed takedown date is quoting a number they can't hold. What is ours to control is the filing — our target is under 24 hours from your authorization, with an evidence pack built to meet review the first time — because the slowest takedown of all is the one that bounces and has to be re-filed.

Where these numbers come from

These are not our numbers. They come from a published industry survey (US Fashion Industry Association, April 2026) and we cite them because they match what we see while building the scanner. We have not filed enough cases to publish medians of our own. When we have, we will publish those instead — including the ones that get worse.
